Bill Chase & Chase

(1935-1974)

Big-band trumpeter Bill Chase, who worked with Woody Herman, Maynard Ferguson, and Stan Kenton, assembled the jazz-rock group Chase in the early 1970's. The band featured a vocalist, four trumpets, and a rock-rhythm section.
